Terms & Conditions


This is OUR Code of Conduct. The idea is that once you have read and signed it you will commit to these values and standards, so everyone enjoys Netball.  

As a member of Essex Wanderers Netball Club, Parent and Daughter, we agree to: 

·      Pay club fees promptly, as agreed with the Treasurer; Fees are non-refundable.

. If sessions are cancelled or reduced in time, a pro-rats credit will be given (deducted from next terms fees)

·      Play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions; 

·      Essex Wanderers have a Zero tolerance approach to bullying. If a complaint is

received 3 points will be followed

1.          General group talk with the players to remind of our Club rules

2.          A direct Talk with the offending Girl(s) and their parent(s)

3.          The offending Girl(s) will be asked to leave the Club

·      For Parents, Spectators and Players to be respectful to Coaches, Team Managers & Officials

·      Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials, both on and off court;  

·      Respect opponents; 

·      Encourage everyone to enjoy the sport of netball and understand that people have different motivations for playing the game;  

·      Keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform the coach if they are

going to be absent or late; 

. We are a competitive club so all members are expected to attend all training sessions. In the event your child is unable to attend, please inform the coach immediately with as much notice as possible. Failure to attend 3 training sessions per term, may result in loss of placement within the club.

. If your daughter trials and is selected for a team, you are agreeing they will be available for all fixtures. Only a few reason for absence will be deemed acceptable for not being available. Your daughter maybe asked to step down from the team if her commitment to training and matches is not deemed sufficient.

·      Inform your coach of any injury or medical condition which may affect your performance; please ensure your profile on Class For Kids is kept up to date.

·   Please ensure your daughter is 'Netball Ready' 

1.    Hair is tied back and out of her face - for matches, hair must be braided or placed into a tight, neat bun

2.    No Jewellery or Sports Watches (Please ensure all fresh piercings have sufficient time to heal as they will need to be removed and not covered)

3.    Nails must be short and not seen over the fingertips

4.    Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn in all weather conditions. In Winter months, your daughter may wear gloves such as riding or running. Not cotton gloves.

Training in the heat 

Below 27 - normal training duration 

28-31 - 1 hour training time 

32+ - reschedule 

Training in the cold 

5+ degrees - normal training duration 

3-4 degrees - 1 hours training 

Below 3 degrees - training rescheduled 

·      On behalf of my daughter, We agree to respect all fellow netballers regardless of

age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.  

·      I agree for my details to be kept for the specific purpose of Essex Wanderers administration and management.
